If you’ve had the pleasure of working with Sammy Jo Mata this summer, we’re confident that you have been as impressed as we are! She is an amazing addition to the 5 Tool Instructional Team.
Heading into her junior year at Ball State and playing infield, she has an ability to connect with athletes and share both her passion and high standards to achieve on the field. The class will focus exclusively on defense, including positioning, footwork and situational plays.
After having several clients request fielding lessons, Sammy Jo is offering a 4-week fielding class. It will be held on Mondays at 6 p.m., starting July 11. Designed for softball athletes ages 9-12, this one hour class will be held at Stephenson Park (next to Yorktown Middle School) and will move inside to 5 Tool’s indoor field in case of poor weather.
Cost is $125 for all 4 weeks and includes a 5 Tool shirt.
