Peyton Smith
Peyton Smith is a native of Muncie, Indiana. He graduated from Daleville Jr.Sr. Highschool in 2019 where he was a starter on both the 2016 and 2018 State Championship teams. He was also a 2-time All-State Selection and the winning pitcher in the 2018 State Championship Game. He was a 5-year starter At Goshen College where he finished with a .370 on base percentage, 31 doubles and 10 home runs. He also pitched and logged 74.1 innings as a Maple Leaf.
He gives hitting, pitching, and defensive lessons that focus extensively on sound mechanics and an advanced mental approach to baseball and training.

Grahm Reedy
Grahm Reedy is a native of Yorktown, Indiana. A 2019 graduate from Yorktown Highschool who was a part of the 2019 Regional Championship team. He played 4 years as a outfielder at Anderson University where he finished with a .319 average, also recording 26 doubles and 9 home runs. Accolades include a 2nd team All-Conference nod as a senior and 1st Team All-Defense in the HCAC.
Grahm Gives detailed hitting, pitching and defensive lessons. He is dedicated to teaching athletes the mechanics and process of being a great baseball player as well as promoting a friendly, inviting and competitive atmosphere where athletes can thrive.

Clay Dungan
Clay Dungan, the son of 5tool instructor Tony Dungan, is a graduate of Yorktown High School. His accomplishments at Yorktown including a nod as team offensive MVP in 2015, and a .488 batting average; earned him a preferred walk-on position to attend Indiana State. Clay was a mainstay in the lineup for the Sycamores. Appearing in 216 games across 4 seasons, he posted 239 career hits, 75 of which were for extra bases. As well as tallying 140 RBIs.
In The 2019 MLB draft, Clay was selected in the 9th round by the Kansas City Royals, as a member of the Royals system, he has appeared across 4 levels in 5 seasons, reaching as high as AAA and receiving multiple big league spring training invites. This winter, he was selected by the San Diego Padres in the AAA portion of the rule 5 Draft, where he is currently a member of the El Paso Chihuahuas.

Mark Taylor
Mark’s lifelong passion for baseball earned him a spot in the Delaware County Athletic Hall of Fame for his high school career at Northside High School. He later played second base for University of South Carolina, where he set fielding records and was team captain his senior year. Mark’s love of the game was rekindled when his own son began to play baseball. He has coached championship-winning Little League teams as well as a nationally-ranked youth travel team. His goal for 5 Tool Academy is to instill in each athlete an enthusiasm for the game while building skills, character and ultimately success.

Bruce Bowling
Bruce Bowling possesses a unique passion for helping baseball players take their game to the next level. He has been successfully providing instruction to some of area’s best athletes at some of the most recognized training facilities for more than 15 years. In particular, he works with several of the region’s best high school pitchers including those committed to Division 1 schools. Bruce successfully teaches pitching, hitting and fielding.

Joe Butts
Joe Butts played NCAA Division I college baseball as a four-year starting catcher for Xavier University as well as being an accomplished high school catcher. Over the past 15 years, Butts has run numerous catching camps in Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana and coached at various levels from collegiate level through Little League.
Butts has spent years learning the position, the skills and drills that will enable an athlete to become an excellent catcher if they choose to put in the training time. The curriculum for instructing catchers offers a comprehensive training program for the most demanding position – permitting catchers to progress through several levels of receiving, blocking, throwing, fielding, handling pitchers and even calling the game.
“I am a catcher, think like a catcher, and love the position of catching. I love teaching the position to players who also love the position. I want to help kids build character and become leaders through catching!”
Joe is available for catching, fielding, pitching and hitting lessons.

Charlie May
Charlie May was a multi-sport athlete at Delta High School, lettering in both baseball and soccer. He played outfield for Elmhurst College where he also earned a double major in math and physics. Today, he is pursuing a graduate degree in Sports Statistics while teaching at 5 Tool and umpiring. Charlie brings a calm and positive demeanor to his lessons and has a unique ability to connect with athletes.
Charlie is available for hitting and pitching lessons.

Zach Tanner
Zach Tanner played professionally in the Frontier League following a successful college career at Wright State University and Lincoln Trail Community College. As a junior at Wright State he was named MVP of the Horizon League tournament and completed his senior season with 58 hits, 26 runs and 30 RBI’s in 47 games. Prior to his collegiate career, he played for Yorktown High School where he was a two-time All-State selection and team MVP for three years. Tanner also coached at Owens Community College in Toledo, Ohio and at Indiana Wesleyan University.
He is available for hitting, fielding, pitching and catching lessons.

Tyler Reynolds
Tyler Reynolds is joining the 5 Tool instructional team having recently returned to Indiana after coaching High School baseball for three years in California. A Muncie native, Reynolds played his high school career at Muncie Southside before pitching for Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne. An educator by trade, Reynolds excels at breaking down the mechanics of the game and connecting with athletes. Reynolds is also an assistant varsity head coach at Muncie Central Highs School
He is available to teach pitching, hitting, fielding and catching. Reynolds is available for lessons in all aspects of the game.

Tony Dungan
Tony Dungan is a respected coach with more than 15 years of experience. He has coached with several organizations including Indiana Prospects, Indiana Bulls and Indiana Longhorns. Several of his players have been recruited to play at D1 schools. He also has taught infield for several years at area facilities. Dungan teaches an hitting as well as infield lessons and classes.
