Josh Johnson, BSU’s softball pitching coach, returns to 5 Tool Academy for 4-week pitching academies in November and December.
Johnson is an experienced NCAA Division I coach with Super Regional experience. He also plays at the Major level of the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) since 2004 as both a pitcher and an outfielder. He was inducted into the NAFA Hall of Fame in 2013 and was the association’s MVP in 2014.
In addition to his current position as Ball State’s pitching coach, he was previously the pitching coach at the University of Texas at El Paso, Univeristy of Louisana-Lafayette and served as the head coach at Faulkner State Community College where he was the winningest coach in the program’s history.
Taught on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., the class will run from November 29 – December 20. This session is for athletes who have already completed multiple sessions with Johnson or who are experienced high school pitchers.. Cost is $109 for all 4 sessions and includes a shirt. Click here to register.
