Designed for middle school catchers, this class will focus on developing catchers in all aspects of the game, including receiving, blocking, throwing and fielding as well as handling pitchers and calling the game.
Taught by experienced catching instructor Joe Butts, athletes will develop the skills needed to succeed behind the plate. He was a 4-year starting catcher for Xavier in addition to being a successful coach and instructor for nearly 15 years.
Class will meet Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., beginning February 12.
Cost for the entire 6 weeks is $167, including a 5 Tool shirt.
