For middle & high school baseball catchers looking to make a significant development in their skills this off-season, Joe Butts is leading a weekly class. This class will focus on physical mechanics as well as the mental component of the game specifically geared for catchers. The curriculum offers a comprehensive training program for the most demanding position – permitting catchers to progress through several levels of receiving, blocking, throwing, fielding, handling pitchers and calling the game.
Joe Butts was a 4-year starting catcher for Xavier University, with more than 15 years of coaching and teaching experience who enjoys sharing both his expertise and passion for the game.
This 5-week class will meet on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning January 13. Class size is limited to ensure each athlete receives significant attention. Total cost of the class is $155 and including a 5 Tool shirt.
