High School Baseball Catching Academy

Date/Time
Date(s) - 11/05/2017
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

For high school baseball pitchers and catchers looking to make a significant development in their skills this off-season, Bruce Bowling, Cal Bowling and Joe Butts are creating a 90-minute weekly class. This class will focus on physical mechanics as well as the mental component of the game specifically geared for pitchers and catchers.

The curriculum for instructing catchers offers a comprehensive training program for the most demanding position – permitting catchers to progress through several levels of receiving, blocking, throwing, fielding, handling pitchers and calling the game.

Bruce Bowling has more than a decade of experience of developing pitchers, several who have gone on to play at the D1 level. Cal Bowling pitched for Ball State University as well as in the minor leagues. Joe Butts was a 4-year starting catching for Xavier University, with more than 15 years of coaching and teaching experience. All are exceptional instructors who enjoy teaching while sharing their passion for the game.

The class will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Sundays from November 5 – March 11 (excluding Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve).

Class size is limited to ensure each athlete receives significant attention. Click here to register.
