5 Tool is pleased to offer a comprehensive training program for the most demanding position – permitting catchers to progress through several levels of receiving, blocking, throwing and fielding to handling pitchers and calling the game.
This class is co-taught by Joe Butts and Jen Sollars, both of whom are among the areas leading instructors. Both truly connect with athletes and are able to effectively break down both the mechanics and the mental aspects of this position.
Jen has coached at the collegiate level, as well as many years of travel. Joe was a 4-year starting catcher for Xavier University, with more than 15 years of coaching and teaching experience.
Designed for softball and baseball 3-5th grade athletes, this 5-week class will be taught on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m., beginning October 20.
Cost for the entire 5 weeks is $189, including a 5 Tool shirt.
