Ball State Baseball Assistant Coach Rhett Goodmiller will lead a 5-week academy for middle and high school baseball catchers.

Held January 14 – February 11 on Thursdays at 7 p.m., each one-hour session will develop athletes catching skills as well as their ability to lead the game from behind the plate. 

Goodmiller spent his collegiate career at Central Michigan and Taylor Unversity where he was a three-time all conference catcher and an NAIA All-American. He was instrumental in helping Taylor secure three straight conference championships and national tournament appearances. Goodmiller was an outstanding high school catcher at Norwell high school where his 4A team won back-to-back state championships.  In addition to coaching at Ball State, Goodmiller also has coached for Taylor University and Indiana Eastlake Chargers as well as having earned a Master’s Degree from Western Kentucky University. 

Cost is $135 for all 5 sessions and includes a shirt. Class size is extremely limited so register today!
