5 Tool is pleased to offer a comprehensive training program for the most demanding position – permitting catchers to progress through several levels of receiving, blocking, throwing and fielding to handling pitchers and calling the game.
This class is taught by Joe Butts, who is among the areas leading instructors. Joe truly connects with athletes and is able to effectively break down both the mechanics and the mental aspects of this position.
Joe was a 4-year starting catcher for Xavier University, with more than 15 years of coaching and teaching experience.
Designed for softball and baseball 3-5th grade athletes, this 5-week class will be taught on Monday evenings beginning October 19. Athletes in grades 3-5 will train at 6:30 p.m. and middle school athletes will train at 7:30 p.m.
Cost for the entire 5 weeks is $189, including a 5 Tool shirt.
