As players progress, it can be challenging to teach lead offs, stealing, bunt coverage, holding runners on base and many more aspects of the game. 5 Tool is pleased to offer a new class taught by Tony Dungan that focuses on helping travel baseball athletes ages 8-12 develop their “baseball IQ” and learn how to effectively play the game.

Each week will focus on a different aspect of the game including:
Base Running  – Lead off, stealing, tag up
Fielding – Cut off positioning, bunt coverage responsibiilities
Hitting  – Working pitch counts, having a game plan when at the plate
Pitching  – Holding runners, pick off moves, fielding bunts

Class will be one hour in length with both a classroom portion to discuss the concept and field time to practice the skill learned. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to better understand how the game is played.

This 5-week class will be held on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. beginning January 12. Cost is $135 for all 5 weeks and includes a 5 Tool shirt.
